Description
The OGP Tsukuba Circuit brings a purpose-built drift competition layout to one of Japan’s most legendary motorsport venues. Located in Ibaraki Prefecture, Tsukuba Circuit has been a staple of Japanese motorsport since the late 1960s and is well known for its tight technical corners, short straights, and highly recognizable layout that has appeared in countless time attack and drifting videos over the years.
This release focuses specifically on the OGP (Oversteer Grand Prix) drift layout, adapting the iconic circuit into a format designed for tandem battles and competition-style drifting. The layout uses Tsukuba’s flowing corners and compact design to create a technical course where drivers must link precise transitions while maintaining speed and control through the circuit.
Built on top of the original Tsukuba conversion, the track benefits from extensive rework and improvements including a refined physical mesh, working AI, animated flags, 3D grass, multiple camera sets (including a Best Motoring–inspired set), and detailed trackside elements reflecting the modern circuit environment.
With its recognizable setting and competition-focused configuration, the OGP Tsukuba drift layout offers a fresh way to drive one of Japan’s most iconic tracks inside Assetto Corsa.
